Glendale crash leaves 1 dead, 3 hurt

One person was killed and another three were injured after a car slammed into a Glendale business on Thursday.

A teenage boy was killed and another three were injured after a car lost control and rolled over in Glendale on Thursday, May 25.

It was just after 7 p.m. when an Infiniti sedan speeding down Grand Avenue lost control. Another car had turned left in front of it near 53rd Avenue, police said.

Police say the Infiniti was trying to avoid the left-turning car when it hit a curb, causing it to roll over.

Four teenagers were in the car, and three of them were ejected. The driver, a 17-year-old boy, along with two 16-year-old girls, were taken to the hospital in life-threatening condition.

A 15-year-old boy that was also a passenger died from his injuries at the scene.

The teens were not wearing seatbelts at the time of the crash, police said.

Investigators believe impairment did not play a role. All of them were described as Glendale residents.
