CALIFORNIA CITY, Calif. (FOX 5 DC) - A 10-year-old boy in California suffered major injuries when he fell in front of a car he'd been "surfing on," according to police.
California City police say they responded to the scene near Neuralia and Ironwood Avenue around 4:08 p.m. on Friday.
They say one of the child's parents was driving the car when the boy slipped and fell in front of it.
According to the police, the child was taken to a local hospital, where he is listed in serious condition.
Police are still investigating the incident.
They did not indicate whether either of the parents will be charged in connection with the incident.
