Body found in semi truck in New River

A man was found dead in a semi truck on the new river on-ramp near I-17.

DPS found the body after someone called 911 thinking it was suspicious when the semi hadn't moved.

According to officers, the body was found in the sleeping berth of the semi, which is behind the driver's seat.

DPS officers believe the 48-year-old man is the operator of the semi.

They do not suspect foul play, but they won't know how he died until an autopsy is complete.
