LAKE HAVASU CITY, Ariz. (AP) - Blasting is scheduled to take place through early March as construction crews build a new climbing lane for State Route 95 in the Mohave Mountains north of Lake Havasu City.
The Arizona Department of Transportation is advising motorists to plan ahead for delays of up to 20 minutes during the work being done between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m.
The $5.1 million project includes constructing the northbound climbing lane, widening shoulders and repaving the roadway.
State Route 95 is a major north-south traffic artery in extreme western Arizona.
