Armed suspect robs Phoenix convenience store
PHOENIX - Police are offering a reward to help find an armed robbery suspect who's accused of robbing a Phoenix fast food restaurant.
According to a spokesperson for Silent Witness, the suspect entered the Jack in the Box at 19th Avenue and Buckeye a little after 9:30pm on Saturday, July 8th. The suspect walked behind the counter and threatened a worker with a black handgun.
The suspect asked for money from the cash registers and placed them into a brown paper bag. The armed suspect ordered the worker to move into the kitchen area before taking off on foot.
The suspect is described as a black man, 25 to 35 years old, six feet two inches tall and weighing 280 pounds. He was wearing a baggy brown t-shirt, blue shorts and a multi-colored hat with a white logo.
