TUCSON, Ariz. (KSAZ) - An Amber Alert has been issued for two children who have been abducted from Tucson.
According to information available on azamberalert.org, 7-month-old Kahmila Ramirez and 5-year-old Luis Ramirez were taken, during a supervised visit with DCS. The DCS worker was reportedly duct taped and tased. According to media reports in Tucson, a passer-by called police, after she noticed the case worker was tied up to a tree.
Kahmila is described as 24" tall, weighing 14 lbs, with black hair and brown eyes. She was wearing a white onesie with yellow ruffles at the time.
Luis is described as 3' 3" tall, weighing 35 lbs, with black hair and brown eyes. He was wearing a grey and white striped polo shirt and khaki pants at the time.
Authorities have identified the suspects as 28-year-old Andrea Vanessa Ramirez and 30-year-old Luis Alberto G. Herrera-Ramirez. The female suspect is described as 5' 1" tall, weighing 195 lbs, with black hair and brown eyes, and was wearing a white shirt and denim jeans at the time. The male suspect, meanwhile, is described as 5' 6" tall, weighing 200 lbs, with black hair and brown eyes. He was wearing a white striped polo shirt and blue jeans at the time.
The car involved was described by authorities as a Green 1996 Toyota Camry with Arizona license plate number BKH8427. The car is noted by authorities to have faded paint. The children were last seen on the 2400 block of South Kino Parkway.
