Data finds Instagram may be the best platform to get a response from airlines

Having flight issues?

New data suggests Instagram may be the best social media platform to get in touch with your airline.

The social media customer engagement platform, Emplifi conducted a deep dive on airline response rates across several social media platforms.

Emplifi's data revealed 27% of customers that took their travel concerns to Instagram received answers, with more than half of the comments carrying a positive sentiment.

The data finds the second-best social media platform where travelers are more likely to get their questions answered is X, formerly Twitter, at 24%.

Travel experts say it’s a good idea to take the "throw everything at the wall" approach, meaning you should reach out on social media and pursue some form of in-person customer service.
