Police investigating deadly West Phoenix crash
The crash, according to officials, happened in the area of 51st Avenue and the I-10. The crash reportedly involved four vehicles.
PHOENIX - Phoenix Police officials say a person is dead following a crash near Interstate 10.
According to an initial statement by Phoenix Fire officials, the crash happened in the area of 51st Avenue and I-10. Initially, fire officials said three men were taken to the hospital in critical condition, but police now say one of the three people involved in the crash was pronounced dead on scene, while two others were taken to the hospital, with the extent of their injuries remaining unknown.
An investigation is ongoing, according to officials.
