Phoenix Police: Man dies in accident after driver ran a red light

Phoenix police said the 38-year-old driver of a Cadillac Escalade ran a red light on Roeser Road when he crashed into a Dodge Durango, injuring two women and killing a man.

One person is dead and three others are seriously injured following a two-car crash in Phoenix.

The Phoenix Fire Department says the crash happened just before midnight on Sept. 8 near Seventh Street and Roeser.

When firefighters arrived at the scene, they found two vehicles, a Dodge Durango and a Cadillac Escalade, had collided and overturned. Three people -- a 22-year-old woman, 29-year-old woman, and 38-year-old man -- were taken to a hospital in serious condition.
