Woman dead in south Phoenix mobile home fire, firefighters say

PHOENIX - Firefighters say a 51-year-old woman is dead following an overnight fire at a mobile home in south Phoenix.

The Phoenix Fire Department says the fire broke out at a mobile home near Seventh Street and Elwood.

Firefighters responded to the scene and quickly had the fire under control, however, a woman was found dead at the scene.

The Phoenix Police Department will be investigating the death.
