Lori Vallow, also known as the so-called 'Doomsday Mom,' had an important hearing on Nov. 14 regarding her competency to stand trial, but at the last minute, she refused to show up. FOX 10 Investigator Justin Lum has more.

A hearing was held on Nov. 14 to determine if Lori Vallow, the so-called "Doomsday Mom," is mentally fit to stand trial in her Arizona case. Vallow was not in court after refusing transport from jail. Another Rule 11 hearing is scheduled for next month.

After waiving multiple appearances, Lori Vallow showed up in an Arizona court for the first time in months for a status conference regarding her murder conspiracy cases, and defense lawyers confirmed that Vallow wants to represent herself at her trial.

There is a new update in the years-long legal saga involving the woman who is known as the so-called ‘Doomsday Mom.’ We learned on Oct. 21 that Lori Vallow's defense lawyer filed a motion on Oct. 9 for what is known as a "Rule 11 evaluation." The motion was filed in connection with her murder trial in Arizona.

Eaton was given access inside the former property of the Daybell family where JJ Vallow, Tylee Ryan and Tammy Daybell were murdered in 2019. Both Chad and Lori have been convicted of first-degree murder and conspiracy in the victims' deaths.
