Girls Rock! Phoenix summer camp celebrates four years

PHOENIX (FOX 10) -- A special camp that helps empower girls, transgender, and gender non-conforming youth is celebrating four years.

Girls Rock! Phoenix is a week-long summer camp provides girls, trans, and gender non-conforming youth, ages 8 to 17, an opportunity to rise up and rock out through five days of instrument instruction, song creation, informative, and fun workshops.

Girls Rock! Phoenix is 100 percent volunteer-run and non-profit.
