DCS: 2-year-old girl in foster care taken by her parents
PHOENIX (KSAZ) - DCS officials say they are looking for a missing 2-year-old girl in foster care.
According to a statement released Wednesday night, Harmony Victoria Dozier was taken from a Phoenix location by her parents, Tiffany Ivory Moore and Kenneth Gaylord Dozier. Harmony was in the legal custody of the state, due to allegations of severe child abuse committed upon Harmony's sibling by the parents.
The location of Harmony and her parents, according to DCS officials, is unknown at this time, and DCS officials believe Harmony's health and safety is at risk of serious harm. An order has been issued by a Maricopa County judge to immediately recover Harmony from her birth parents.
Phoenix police believe Harmony's parents may be traveling with her to Las Vegas.
Anyone with information should call 911 immediately.
