Chandler Police: Body found in canal identified as missing elderly man

CHANDLER, Ariz. (FOX 10) - The Chandler Police Department says they have found the body of a missing elderly man from Chandler in a canal.

Police pulled the body of Samuel Contreras, 85, from a canal near Chandler Blvd. and Cooper Rd Saturday morning. He was reported missing Friday night.

No foul play is suspected. The silver alert has been cancelled.
