14-year-old boy dies after being pulled from Phoenix pool
PHOENIX (KSAZ) - Firefighters say a 14-year-old boy has died after he was pulled from a swimming pool in Phoenix.
According to the Phoenix Fire Department, the boy was pulled from the bottom of a pool by maintenance crews near 23rd Avenue and Campbell on Tuesday morning.
When firefighters arrived at the scene, family members were performing CPR on the boy.
Firefighters then took over and performed life-saving measures on the boy and transported him Phoenix Children's Hospital in extremely critical condition where he was pronounced dead.
