Group sessions held in Chandler on teen violence

Six months have passed since the death of 16-year-old Preston Lord as he was brutally beaten at a Halloween party. To address teen violence, the city of Chandler on Monday listened to community voices in collaborative small-group sessions. FOX 10's Kenzie Beach has the story.

Preston Lord murder suspect to appear in court

This week, one of the teens charged in the murder of Preston Lord will appear in court. Seven people were arrested in connection to the death of the east Valley teen in 2023. One is 17-year-old Talan Renner, who is charged with first-degree murder. He will be in court on Tuesday.

Queen Creek Chief Randy Brice details the investigative steps into the Preston Lord murder case. "Throughout the investigation, the police department balanced the public’s request for information and public record disclosure laws with preserving the integrity of the investigation and prosecutorial process," the department said.
