Arizona weather forecast: Temperatures continue to rise in the Phoenix-metro area
PHOENIX - Monday will be a couple degrees warmer, statewide. Skies will become mostly cloudy throughout the morning and day. Zonal, west to east wind flow will keep the weather quiet and warmer than normal to start the work week.
By mid-week, temperatures will start to climb, thanks to a strong upper level ridge over the western U.S.
Temperatures will be in record-warm territory from Wednesday through Saturday. Highs will be in the upper 70s and low 80s in the Metro Valley.
Some relief may arrive at the end of next weekend, dropping temperatures a bit closer to normal.
