Arizona weather forecast: Below-normal temps continue in Phoenix
PHOENIX - Following three days of scattered rain and snow showers, conditions have dried out across the state.
What We Can Expect:
While temperatures on Thursday remain below average, the trend quickly bumps above average in the next several days. The Valley is expected to reach the low to middle 60s Thursday afternoon with upper 60s Friday, middle 70s Saturday and upper 70s Sunday. It will be sunny to mostly sunny through the weekend, too. Winds aren't expected to pick up much through the weekend, peaking around 10-15 mph at times.
What's next:
By next week, temperatures will jump into the low 80s. Monday is forecast to reach 83, and Tuesday is forecast to reach 83, which is two degrees under the record set in 1963.
Next week appears to remain dry with partly sunny conditions on Monday and Tuesday.
Morning temperatures will climb as well. Lows in the low to middle 40s are forecast for Friday and Saturday morning. The upper 40s and low 50s are forecast for early next week.
