'Fake electors' to head to court in Arizona
Defendants in the so-called fake electors case head to court on Monday, Aug. 26. Eleven Republicans are accused of submitting a document that falsely declared Donald Trump the winner of the 2020 election in Arizona. Joe Biden won the state by about 11,000 votes. One defendant has already pled guilty, and a second had charges dropped in exchange for her testimony.
