Timelapse: Hurricane Debby lakes landfall

Debby, initially striking the Big Bend Area near Steinhatchee, Florida, as a hurricane, has since been downgraded to a tropical storm following its landfall. During a Monday afternoon press briefing, Governor Ron DeSantis attributed four fatalities in Florida to the storm. The deaths include two individuals who perished in a vehicular accident in Dixie County, a truck driver who lost his life in a collision in Hillsborough County, and a child whose life was claimed by a tree falling on a residence in Levy County.
