Alaska Airlines: Investigators might've solved case
We have an update on the Alaska Airlines door plug mishap. The inspection of the panel that blew off an Alaska Airlines jet suggests it had bolts missing when it left the Boeing factory. The Wall Street Journal says Boeing and other industry officials believe employees failed to put the bolts back on when they reinstalled the door after opening or removing it during production. The reason: there are no marks suggesting the bolts were in place when it blew off.
