Reopening Monroe Abbey as a luxury venue

The Monroe Abbey near 3rd Ave. and Monroe St. was originally the First Baptist Church and built in the 1920s. The last church service was held in 1968 and the building received a historic designation in 1982. In early 2024, BTS Event Management hopes to open the space for luxury weddings and events.
