It looks like the end of the line for Big Lots, as the company is planning to close all 963 of its locations, including nine stores in Arizona, because its anticipated sale to a capital management group fell through.

Ross Teeple replaces outgoing Sheriff Mark Lamb, who has not said if he plans on running for another political office. Teeple served multiple roles in the sheriff's office for the last 16 years. Before that, he worked for a dozen years as an Arizona corrections officers. Teeple served in the U.S. Navy.

Phoenix man arrested for alleged role in Jan. 6 riot

David Crosby, 35, is accused of assaulting officers during the January 6 riot at the U.S. Capitol. According to court documents, Crosby confronted police and rammed them into bike racks that were being used as a barricade. Two officers eventually sprayed Crosby with a chemical agent. Crosby faces multiple charges.
