Brady Fire has residents on edge for fire season

While evacuations for the Brady Fire in Yavapai County have been reduced, residents are still on edge that the dry season we've experienced will produce an even more dangerous wildfire season. FOX 10's Nicole Krasean has the story.

Mark Finchem invokes legislative immunity to get out of speeding ticket

Prescott Police say Finchem was pulled over on Jan. 25 for speeding. Two days later, Finchem sent a letter to the police chief, asking that the citation be "voided and stricken from the record." Finchem cited legislative immunity because the Arizona Legislature is currently in session. Police made a motion to dismiss the speeding ticket without prejudice, meaning the case could be refiled.

Cats rescued from Prescott Valley house fire

Two cats had to be rescued from a burning mobile home in Prescott Valley over the weekend. It happened Sunday just before 4:30 p.m. Crews say the cats were trapped inside when they arrived, but firefighters were able to get them out safely. The cats were thankfully OK.

Dog rescued from Yavapai County house fire

Dramatic new video shows deputies rescuing a dog from a Yavapai County house fire. It happened Sunday night in Cordes Lakes. The deputy saw the flames while on patrol and quickly arrived to check on the homeowner. He then ran in finding a dog in a kennel. He was able to use a bolt cutter to rescue the dog.
