Man has 'freak accident' while on Old Town party bike

An Old Town Scottsdale bouncer jumped in to help after he said a man's foot was barely intact after an accident on a party bike. "The young man's leg had gotten stuck in the wheel well and had been injured quite decently."

Rally on AZ abortion ruling held in Scottsdale

Arizona's abortion battle is expected to ramp-up this week. It comes after Arizona's Supreme Court reinstated a law from 1864, effectively banning all abortions. Republicans then blocked an attempt to repeal it. On Sunday, a rally was held in Scottsdale where several people from both sides of the issue took to the streets to voice their opinions. Arizona Coyotes: Mayor opposes new venue proposal

Scottsdale's mayor is calling proposals for a new Arizona Coyotes venue a 'fantasy.' In an op-ed, David Ortega said the proposed venue, which will sit near Loop 101 and Scottsdale Road, would jeopardize industry in the city. He also said water and sewer infrastructure don't exist for such a venue.

Scottsdale Democrat sworn into AZ Legislature

The Maricopa County Board of Supervisors appointed Deborah Nardozzi to fill the vacant seat in Legislative District 8. Nardozzi replaces Democrat Jevin Hodge who resigned last month amid allegations of sexual misconduct dating back to his college days.
