Valley veteran pleads guilty to threatening mosque

Michael Hanson, an Iraq war veteran from Goodyear, was arrested by Avondale Police last month at a west Valley Islamic center. According to court documents, Hanson made several threats towards Muslim people, including saying he would "bomb the place." Hanson pleaded guilty to communicating a terroristic threat. He will be sentenced later this month.
