The two good Samaritans, a Chandler police officer and a Peoria firefighter, were honored for jumping in on Feb. 18 to save a woman whose car caught fire after it was rear-ended. FOX 10's Dominique Newland reports.

A DPS vehicle was hit by a car after the trooper stopped to help a different driver involved in a single-car crash.

State Roue 347 is back open after a pedestrian was hit and killed on Feb. 20 near Casa Blanca Road. The Arizona Department of Public Safety says the pedestrian was hit by multiple vehicles and pronounced dead at the scene. The pedestrian was not identified.

Aymee Ruiz was involved in a horrific crash on US 60 on Feb. 18, and she was rescued by who she's calling her heroes. FOX 10's Lindsey Ragas has this story.

A driver shared dash cam footage of a crash on US 60 near Val Vista Drive in Mesa on Feb. 18. Sharmaine Fernando was driving right behind the cement truck before it slammed into a pickup truck that immediately burst into flames.

The bill would add a $250 fine for drivers who poke along in the left lane without passing. The bill would also add bigger signs along roadways, reminding drivers to only use the left lane for passing. The law would only apply to highways and state routes with two lanes. After passing in the House, the bill now moves onto the Senate.

A Phoenix car crash on I-10 near 16th Street left a car rolled over on its roof on Sunday afternoon. DPS has yet to say what happened, and if anyone was hurt.

A road closure on Interstate 17 southbound in north Phoenix is one of several road closures in place this weekend. FOX 10's Anita Roman has more on how to avoid the closures if you're driving this weekend.
