New AZ program aims to help people with autism
A new program being rolled out in Arizona aims to help members of law enforcement better community with drivers who are on the autism spectrum. Under the program, drivers can put their registration, insurance, and emergency contact information in a blue envelope, and hand it over during a traffic stop as a way to let officers know the person may respond differently during stressful situations.
