Nearly a year after his death, Preston Lord will be honored on Sept. 23 in Chandler at The Stillery, located near Arizona Avenue and Chandler Boulevard. There will be a butterfly release, speakers and a celebration starting at 5 p.m. Lord, 16, died after he was attacked at a Halloween party in Queen Creek.
