A deputy-involved shooting is under investigation in northeastern Arizona. Navajo County deputies responded to a call for a disorderly person Saturday afternoon in the town of Lakeside, just southeast of Show Low. Scottsdale PD releases officer-involved shooting footage

New video of a shootout between officers and a suspect last Thursday in Scottsdale has been released. Scottsdale Police say traffic cameras show officers pulling over a stolen car at Scottsdale and Cactus roads. The suspect stops and almost immediately gets out and fires at officers. The officers fired back, killing 52-year-old Laquanza Young.

Autopsy released for teen shot by Avondale PD

An autopsy report has been released for 17-year-old Amarion Hope, who was shot by an Avondale officer near Dysart and Buckeye Roads. Police say Hope was shoplifting and tried to choke the officer and grab their gun. According to the autopsy, Hope was shot several times and the bullet that killed him was fired through his back. Hope's family filed a lawsuit, saying he was unarmed and body camera video shows he was shot while running away. Police say an investigation showed the shooting was justified and the officer was cleared of any wrongdoing.
