Tom Brady making FOX broadcast booth debut: How to watch
CLEVELAND - Tom Brady is a rookie again. No, not like his famously awkward post-Michigan, pre-Belichick draft days – the former quarterback is set to make his debut in the broadcast booth this weekend.
After retiring ("for good") in 2023, Brady took some time to get ready for his next job. He’ll be joining Kevin Burkhardt as color commentator on FOX, calling each week’s biggest game.
The future Hall of Famer says he thinks his years of success on the field, combined with the countless interviews and production meetings, have prepped him for this chapter.
"To really put together something special for the audience is what's exciting for me," Brady said this week. "I'm ready for football season, I'm ready to get back out there and watch from a different perspective and we're fortunate to be in Cleveland this weekend with a great game – Cleveland and Dallas – and it can't get here soon enough."
Ironically, the former Patriot and Buccaneer will not be revisiting Foxborough or Tampa – at least not right away. Neither team is on FOX’s ‘America's Game of the Week’ schedule for the immediate future. But there’s always Super Bowl LIX in New Orleans, which airs Feb. 9, 2025 on FOX.

America's Game of the Week: Week 1
The Dallas Cowboys head to Cleveland for a Week 1 showdown with the Browns in the first edition of America's Game of the Week on FOX.
The Browns allowed the fewest points per game at home last season, while the Cowboys scored the most average points per game. Each team retained key players on both sides of the ball, though their running games will be something of a question mark.
"I think it's a defensive game," Brady told Colin Cowherd on Tuesday. "I think you’ve got two great defenses. Coach [Mike] Zimmer is a huge addition to that Dallas defense. They've got a lot of the same players coming back on Dallas's defense. Cleveland does as well."
The Dallas-Cleveland game will be seen at 4:25 p.m. ET in most FOX markets, except in Washington, Baltimore, Tampa, and Orlando, where the Washington Commanders’ matchup with Brady’s former Buccaneers will air.
