Cindy McCain serves as honorary captain for Arizona Cardinals

GLENDALE, Ariz. (KSAZ) - Senator John McCain's widow, Cindy McCain, served as an honorary captain for the Arizona Cardinals during their home opener against the Washington Redskins on Sunday.

It was McCain's first public appearance in the Valley since her late husband's memorial in Phoenix on August 30.

Senator McCain was a huge Arizona sports fan. Cardinals receiver Larry Fitzgerald spoke at his memorial service in Phoenix.
