Taylor Wirtz
Taylor joined the FOX10 team as a reporter in June 2025. Born and raised in Los Angeles, she is thrilled to be just a drive away from family, and can’t wait to see all that living in the Valley has to offer.
Taylor comes to Phoenix from WINK News in Fort Myers, Florida, where she served as a weekend anchor and reported during the week. She went live from "Evacuation Zone A" while Hurricane Ian, the deadliest storm in modern Florida history, washed ashore, providing coverage until the station was knocked off the air. Her reports aired on The Weather Channel, CNN, and Fox News, among other outlets. She then anchored hours of wall-to-wall, unscripted coverage of Southwest Florida’s recovery in the weeks that followed.
Taylor also covered the Gabby Petito case, and the ensuing manhunt for Brian Laundrie in North Port that captured national attention.
Before Florida, she got her start at KTWO TV in Casper, Wyoming, where she mainly served as anchor and producer of Good Morning Wyoming. She reported on various gubernatorial, U.S. House and Senate races in the state, and enjoyed highlighting small businesses as part of the morning show.
Taylor is a proud Horned Frog, graduating from Texas Christian University in 2018.
She has a deep love for animals, and has emceed fundraisers, galas and events for Humane Societies in both Florida and Wyoming. When she’s not at work, you can find her walking her dog Scarlett, traveling, or eating somewhere yummy.
Taylor is passionate about telling emotional stories that showcase the power of the human spirit. She couldn’t be happier to have the privilege of telling stories in the Valley.
