
Jacob Luthi
Jacob Luthi joined the FOX 10 team in March 2026 as a reporter, returning to the Valley to tell stories that matter to Arizona communities.
Before coming back to Phoenix, Jacob worked as a reporter and multi-skilled journalist at 5NEWS in Fayetteville, Arkansas. There, he covered a wide range of stories, including severe weather, crime, and politics, focusing on issues impacting viewers across Northwest Arkansas and Oklahoma. He also regularly filled in on both morning and evening anchor desks.
Jacob earned his master’s degree in sports journalism from Arizona State University’s Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication in December 2023. During his time at Cronkite, he honed his broadcast skills as a weekly anchor and reporter for Cronkite News.
He previously graduated magna cum laude from the University of California, Riverside with a bachelor’s degree in political science.
Jacob is passionate about uncovering meaningful, often overlooked stories and sharing them in a way that connects with audiences.
Outside the newsroom, he enjoys reading, playing pickleball and golf, and spending time with friends and family.
Originally from Arcadia, California, Jacob is excited to be back in the Phoenix area, just a few hours’ drive from his family.
