Ashley is an award-winning forecaster who is excited to call the Valley of the Sun home. After spending years forecasting severe weather in the Pacific Northwest, she’s looking forward to connecting with viewers in Arizona and learning the unique challenges of desert weather.
Born and raised in Northern California, Ashley earned her bachelor’s degree in Broadcast and Electronic Communication Arts from San Francisco State University. Shortly after graduating, she moved to the Pacific Northwest to begin her career at KEPR Action News in Pasco, Washington, where she served as both a reporter and weather anchor.
Ashley later continued her career at KHQ in Spokane, Washington, where she forecasted weather for not only the Pacific Northwest, but also for the entire state of Montana. Ashley also covered weather in Idaho and Oregon. Her forecasting experience spans major winter storms, severe flooding and wildfire coverage to name a few.
When she’s not tracking weather patterns, Ashley enjoys living an active lifestyle. You can find her exploring the outdoors with her dog Stella, booking a workout class, attending a live music event or discovering the best local eats in town. She’s also a travel enthusiast who loves finding new adventures near and far.
