Woman found stuck inside Phoenix garbage truck
PHOENIX - A shocking discovery was made inside a Phoenix garbage truck on Tuesday morning – a woman.
On Dec. 31 at around 4:40 a.m., Phoenix firefighters and police responded to the area of 19th Avenue and Indian School Road for reports of a woman who was stuck inside the back of a garbage truck.
"Officers learned from the driver that after he made his last dump, he heard knocking from inside the truck. Phoenix Fire responded and assisted in getting the woman out. She was then taken to the hospital for pre-caution," said Phoenix Police Sgt. Brian Bower.
The fire department says the woman is doing OK. The police department is investigating this incident.
There's no word on who the woman was or how she became stuck inside the truck.
