Westbound Loop 202 reopens in Mesa following fatal pedestrian crash
PHOENIX - A pedestrian is dead in a crash on Loop 202 that caused a major traffic jam westbound at Country Club Drive.
What to know
Westbound lanes on Loop 202 in Mesa were closed as authorities cleared debris from a crash involving a pedestrian on Monday morning.
Cars were seen at a standstill on the Red Mountain Freeway as of 7:00 a.m. beginning at Country Club Drive and extending all the way to Gilbert Road.
The road reopened around 12:30 p.m.
