A couple received an unexpected surprise during their flight from Florida to Michigan, when they discovered two sleepy golden retrievers curled up beneath their seats.

Golden retrievers appear under passengers’ seats

Footage filmed by Nicholas Bruno during a flight from Fort Myers to Detroit shows the two adorable dogs sleeping peacefully below his and his wife’s seats on the plane.

What they're saying:

Bruno told Storyful that as he and his wife settled into their seats on the plane, they felt "little golden retriever noses sniffing our feet."

It turned out that the dogs were service animals, and with the owner's permission, Bruno and his wife were able to pet them.

After Bruno posted a video of the interaction, the owner reached out to thank the couple for their kindness and for "being so sweet" to the dogs.

One social media user wrote in response to the video, "Why do I never get this lucky??"
