An unidentified construction worker at Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company (TSMC) in north Phoenix was badly hurt in an accident on June 30.
PHOENIX - A north Phoenix worker was seriously hurt on Monday afternoon.
What we know:
It happened on June 30 at Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company (TSMC), which is near 43rd Avenue and Loop 303.
The Phoenix Fire Department didn't say how the worker was injured, but said the injuries were serious.
TSMC released a statement on what happened, saying, "This afternoon an Arizona site construction worker was in an accident and suffered broken bones. This person was treated on scene and promptly transported to the hospital for further treatment. We wish the injured worker a full and fast recovery. TSMC’s top priority is the safety and welfare of everyone who works on our site. We are in contact with our construction contractors and looking into this situation."
