Trump makes accusations of "electoral corruption" in Arizona

PHOENIX (AP/KSAZ) -- President Donald Trump has weighed in on the ongoing vote count in the U.S. Senate race in Arizona by openly calling for new elections to take place.

On his verified Twitter account, Trump leveled accusations of "electoral corruption", and said the signatures don't match. Trump, however, did not offer any evidence to back up his claims in the tweet.

On Thursday, Democrat Kyrsten Sinema jumped into a slight lead over Republican Martha McSally in the midst of the slow vote count. On Friday morning, Trump suggested there was something sinister about the Arizona tally.
