Truck driver reportedly shot himself in the leg in Buckeye

BUCKEYE, Ariz. (KSAZ) - Police said Friday night a semi-truck driver shot himself in the leg Friday morning.

The incident happened just after 7:00 a.m. in Buckeye. According to earlier reports, as the driver was heading west on the road, he was shot in the lower left leg.

After being shot, the truck driver exited Interstate 10 at Verrado Way and was transported to a nearby hospital. By Friday night, police said the wound was self-inflicted.
