Suspect arrested in 2 fondling incidents on ASU campus
TEMPE, Ariz. (AP) - Arizona State University police say they have arrested a man who allegedly fondled two female students in campus parking garages last August.
Police said Tuesday that 40-year-old Ronald Lowry has been released on his own recognizance but is banned from entering campus.
Lowry will likely face charges including assault and criminal trespassing. It was not known Wednesday if he had an attorney.
Police say he has no affiliation with ASU.
Authorities say a student reported on Aug. 16 that a man reached around her and touched her buttocks under her skirt.
A second student a short time later reported a man wrapped his hands around her waist and also touched her buttocks.
Lowry is scheduled to be arraigned Oct. 29.
