Police say a man called 911 on Tuesday night saying that he had just killed his parents at a home near 83rd Avenue and Jomax Road. FOX 10's Danielle Miller has the latest details.
PEORIA, Ariz. - Two people were found dead in Peoria on Tuesday night after police said a son called 911 and said he killed his parents.
What we know:
The incident happened at a home near 83rd Avenue and Jomax Road just after 6 p.m. on March 31.
Peoria Police say officers responded to the scene and took 29-year-old Jonathan Turk into custody. Inside the home, officers found 63-year-old Fraser Turk and 56-year-old Tina Turk dead.
Jonathan Turk is accused of two counts of first-degree murder.
What they're saying:
"We later learned that the son of the two adults called and stated that he just killed his parents," Sgt. Aracelia Montez said. "He is now in custody and is facing charges. Peoria Fire-Medical later confirmed that the adults were deceased."
Police say there is no threat to the public.
