Scaffolding collapse sends two to the hospital
GLENDALE, Ariz. (KSAZ) - Two men are in the hospital after their scaffolding collapsed at a construction site in Glendale.
It happened Friday near 59th Avenue and Peoria.
Fire officials say the workers were 30 feet up when the scaffolding collapsed sending both men tumbling to the ground.
Both men were wearing helmets, and firefighters say nearby civilians rushed to help.
Paramedics took both men to the hospital with serious, but non life threatening injuries.
A team of inspects from OSHA are on scene investigating the accident.
