Reward offered to find robbery suspect
PHOENIX - Police are offering a reward to help solve an armed robbery at a Fry's gas station in west Phoenix.
Sgt. James Rothschild with Silent Witness says the crime happened at 51st Avenue and Baseline on Monday, February 22nd at 9:44pm. The suspect reportedly pointed a gun at a clerk outside the kiosk of the gas station, and took his key to the door. He got inside the kiosk, demanded money from the register, and put it into a wastebasket. He then fled the scene with the cash.
The suspect is described as a black man in his early twenties, six feet two inches, 160 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. He was wearing a black hoodie and a dark bandana over his face, and he was carrying a chrome revolver.
