Remembering 9/11: Valley woman recalls surviving 9/11 attacks

PHOENIX (KSAZ) - Sunday marks the 15th anniversary since the 9/11 terrorist attacks.

September 11, 2001 was the day two hijacked planes slammed into the Twin Towers of the World Trade Center and another hit the Pentagon.

A fourth hijacked plane went down in a field in Pennsylvania.

A Valley woman was about to walk into one of the Twin Towers when the first plane hit.

September 11, 2001 started out like any other day for Cindy Laney. She was on the subway going into Manhattan and was headed to the World Trade Center when the first plane struck.
