Rare Porsche collection may have been destroyed in Durham explosion

One of the most impressive exotic car collections in the world may have been damaged or even destroyed during a deadly gas explosion at a building in Downtown Durham, according to multiple reports.

Bob Ingram, a venture capitalist and Durham fixture, and his son Cam, owned the collection that was being housed inside of the building directly next to the explosion. Firefighters could be seen spewing water from hoses into the warehouse that was storing the cars.

Ralph Lauren and Jerry Seinfeld are said to have been clients to the warehouse, which also offers restoration services on old classic Porsches.

Ingram and his son Cam have built up the collection spanning over 50 years.
