Police searching for gunman who fired shots at car

A car was shot up outside of a Phoenix apartment complex, and now police are having a hard time locating the owner.

Police are still trying to piece together what happened. The victim or victims that were in the car fled, along with the shooter.

Only a witness remained and police say that person is not cooperating with investigations.

There were at least eight bullet holes in the windshield of a Chrysler 300 sedan.

A police chopper and units on the ground searched the area but were unable to locate anyone.

A neighbor who lives near the shooting scene says the area is notorious for drugs.
