Dirt bike riders lead 30 min police chase
Two dirt bike riders at the center of a police chase called up at least a dozen others to join the ride.
LOS ANGELES - The search was on Thursday night for two dirt bike riders who led a dramatic police chase and then called up a dozen others to join them on the ride across Los Angeles.
SkyFOX was over the scene as the original two suspects led the California Highway Patrol on a chase. Over the course of the chase, one of the dirt bike riders was on his phone and at around 4:45 p.m. PT, at least a dozen other riders – some in ATVs, others on dirt bikes – joined in on the ride.
Officials did not say what the two dirt bike riders were initially wanted for. Over the course of the chase, the group traveled through parts of East Los Angeles, Inglewood, Mid-City, and Pico Union.
