Police: Bicyclist hit by car, seriously injured in Tempe

TEMPE, Ariz. (KSAZ) - Police say a bicyclist was seriously injured after being hit by a vehicle in Tempe.

Tempe police say the collision happened near 48th Street and Baseline on Friday morning. The bicyclist was taken to a nearby hospital with serious injuries.

Police say the bicyclist was not wearing a helmet and impairment is not suspected.
